Danny Buckler is one of the most popular acts from the worlds of comedy, magic and entertainment and is a joyous host for a night of great fun.
Danny is a comedian, raconteur, improviser, story teller and occasional magician. But tonight will be all about the laughs as he brings his irresistible geniality to hosting an assembly of his friends from the comedy world.

This month he will be welcoming former Perrier award-nominated comedian Steve Hall, Leicester comedy award-nominee George Rigden and popular rising star – Annie McGrath.


Steve Hall is a stand-up comedian and writer. He is a regular writer on The Russell Howard Hour (Sky) and previously Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC), and in 2017, he supported Russell on his international tour, Round the World.

Steve previously supported Russell on his 2014 sell-out national tour, Wonderbox, along with his previous shows, Adventures, Dingledodies and Big Rooms And Belly Laughs.

Steve’s Edinburgh Festival successes include his sell-out third show, Zebra. As well as being  nominated for the prestigious Perrier Award with sketch troupe We Are Klang  - along with Greg Davies and Marek Larwood.


George Rigden was nominated as ‘Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2017’ and has excelled in a host of competitions. He made his Edinburgh debut in 2015 when he performed as part of the prestigious AAA Stand Up Late showcase at the Pleasance Courtyard for a full sell-out run.

He is known for his dark musical Comedy, and received considerable critical acclaim for his set at the Leicester Comedy Festival Gala Preview Show 2016.

Annie McGrath – Annie is renowned for her joke writing skills and deadpan style. Her 2019 Edinburgh show, Shepherd, was met with critical acclaim ("nothing but masterful"- Short Com). Annie wrote and starred in Channel 4’s Girls Go Trolling and ITV2’s @elevenish.

She has appeared in numerous sketches on Sky Sports’ Soccer AM and her football skills have even made it onto BBC Three. Annie’s stand up has featured on BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio 4 Extra. She has also written for BBC Radio 4’s Newsjack.
