This solo recital will feature works by Chopin, Balakirew, Liszt and Rachmaninoff.
Born in the United Kingdom, Helen was inspired to play the piano by her father who was always playing the piano at home. Helen quickly developed a love for playing and her talent was quickly recognised and nurtured.
Until 2011 Helen travelled the world performing with many orchestras and making guest recitals at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall as part of the Opal Foundation 'The Magic of Music'.
In March 2011 Helen was injured in a car crash and suffered major spinal injuries. It has been a long road to recovery. Against all odds (she sadly also lost 75% of her hearing) Helen has now returned to her career on the concert platform.
