The Armistice: In recognition of the Centenary of the Armistice.

The exhibition will be on display in The Old Court ‘Attic’ 07.11.18 until 11.11.18 and on  Armistice Day the work will be moved to the lower bar for accessibility.

A small exhibition of eleven pieces of art/photography, sourced from veterans diagnosed with PTSD, curated by former Grenadier Guardsman, Leon Stokes, founder of Leon is himself a contributor having spent his entire adult life as a soldier and PTSD patient.

Exclusive prints will be sold with the contributor receiving half the proceeds whilst the other half will go to the charity of their choosing. The aim of the event is to promote the use of the arts as a tool to treat trauma related injuries and conditions.

Plus a free talk  ‘A LIFE WITH PTSD’  by Terry Brazier – Two Weight MMA World Champion and Afghan Veteran. Michael Coates talks to Terry Brazier about his childhood, service in Afghanistan and how his battle with PTSD led him to becoming a two weight division MMA World Champion. This will be held in the auditorium on 09.11.18 from 2pm-3pm.
