This month our Court In Session: Windsor Guitar Night features Elliott Morris, Will McNichol and Dan Burne.

Elliott Morris

Singer-songwriter and guitarist Elliott Morris mixes traditional and original folk and roots material, influenced by rock, pop, blues, country and jazz. Favouring open tunings, his extended techniques include percussive hits, string tapping, and occasionally slide.

Maverick Magazine called Elliott ‘The new face of folk” and BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson described him as “absurdly talented”. Music blog WriteWyattUK proclaimed that
Elliott Morris “redefines folk…with a little John Martyn influence delivered in Seth Lakeman style”.  A prestigious ‘Danny Kyle Award Winner’ from Celtic Connections, Elliott releases his new album in June 2019.

Will McNichol

Described as "flawless" and "acoustic genius" by guitar magazines, multi award-winning acoustic guitarist Will McNichol will be playing tunes from his latest critically acclaimed album as well as material from upcoming releases inspired by music from
around the world.


Dan Burne

Dan is a composer and guitarist from Brixton who uses a range of extended techniques in the service of emotive, soothing, melody-driven fingerstyle acoustic guitar pieces, featuring rich chords and lush textures, His playing has drawn praise from the likes of Martin Simpson, Pierre Bensusan, Clive Carroll, Trevor Gordon Hall, Thomas Leeb, Adam Miller and many others,
