For Teachers Only
A Professional Training Day for teachers of KS1 and KS2, working with director Jonathan Ainscough and vocal coach Shelly Coulter-Smith from The Royal Opera House’s Learning team to develop confidence and skills in dramatic singing, storytelling and staging.
Using learning materials inspired by the children’s opera Hansel and Gretel, teachers will explore a series of singing and drama activities to use in their classroom. A cross curricular scheme of work and all the resources needed to put together a musical performance in the classroom will be provided. No prior music or acting experience necessary – just a desire to use the Arts creatively in your classroom.
Cost is £20 to offset the venue’s costs and includes refreshments and lunch.
