Our monthly one-hour lunchtime concert series continues in 2020 with the Lógos Duo, presented in partnership with Live Music Now.
Classically trained singer Jack Lawrence-Jones and pianist Kaoru Wada met at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, in London. After many recitals and performances together, in 2016 they formed the Lógos Duo.
The Lógos Duo aim to present music in innovative ways, juxtaposing styles and historical periods to tell stories and shed new light on traditional repertoire. They are inspired by opening audiences up to music they wouldn’t normally listen too. Whether it’s early 17th century opera or Elvis, they believe that all forms of music are relevant to modern audiences.
