Emma Besselaar (cello) and Inga Liukaityte (piano) met on their first day at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, at the beginning of their Masters studies in 2015. Their first project together was Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time, which earned their ensemble the privilege to represent the Guildhall School at the Torroella de Montgri Festival in Spain.Together, Emma and Inga have performed in St James Waterloo, St James Paddington, St Pancras Church and St Mary’s Perivale and have given interactive workshops in schools in London and Peterborough. Their repertoire ranges from Elgar and Piazzolla to lesser known composers from their home countries.
